SMB-Winning Consortium strengthen prevention and control work against the new coronavirus to ensure smooth operating of Guinea Boke bauxite project

Beijing, March 20 (Antaike)- The bauxite imports from SMB-Winning Consortium’s Boke bauxite project in Guinea accounted for about 44% of China’s total bauxite imports in 2019 and therefore the smooth operation of the project is of great significance to the resource guarantee for China's aluminum industry.

Recently, Guinea confirmed the first case of new coronavirus imported from Europe. In order to further improve the epidemic prevention and control work and ensure the health and safety of the project site and the community, the shareholders of SMB-Winning Consortium donated a batch of epidemic prevention and medical supplies to the site staffs.

Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group donated 20,000 masks and 1,000 protective suits.

Winning International Group of Singapore donated 10,000 masks and 400 test kits.

Shandong Yantai Port Group donated 10,000 masks and a batch of 84 disinfectant.
