Beijing, Jun. 21(Antaike)-Guangxi Beigang New Materials Co., Ltd. (BG New Materials)'s operating revenue grew in the first 5 months of 2021 due to its original new process to solve the stainless steel waste residue treatment.
In 2019, BG New Materials has set up an economic circular center, and then it created the original "rolling combination ball mill grinding/smelting electric furnace slag impact crushing" process which turned waste (stainless steel melting slag) into wealth (high value-added building materials). From Jan. to May of this year, the company produced 311.3kt of slag powder and realized 63.131mln yuan of operation revenue, up 36.8% on a y-o-y basis.
BG New Materials (former name Guangxi Beibu Gulf New Materials Co., Ltd. and Beihai Chengde Nickel Industry Co., Ltd.), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beibu Gulf Port Group Co., Ltd., is mainly engaged in producing 200 series, 300 series, and 400 series, and sorbite stainless steel and it has an annual capacity of 3.4Mtpy stainless steel slab, 3Mtpy stainless steel coil and 1.2Mtpy cold rolling coil.
