Beijing, Jul. 26(Antaike)-Output of nickel sulphate in China doubled from 2020 to 510kt in the first half of this year, data from Antaike. The shortage of nickel hydro-smelting intermediate products is still the main theme of the market. Though a large plant in south China has shut down since the end of March, the dissolution of nickel briquettes at the precursor plants has increased rapidly. In the second half of 2021, the rising supply of raw materials, such as the resumption of Goro project and the Obi project reaching target output) will further improve nickel sulphate output.
