Bulletin of domestic cathode copper production in Feb.
Beijing, March 12 (Antaike)-According to Antaike’s survey results, in February, 22 sample companies produced a total of 745,100 tons of copper cathode, up by 13.7% year on year and 3.26% month on month (revised January output was 721,600 tons). The year-on-year increase on the one hand was due to the low production base in February last year, when the epidemic was the most severe, and smelting companies were affected by transportation interruptions and slow sales of sulfuric acid; on the other hand, most smelters had no maintenance plans in February this year, and copper cathodes were normally produced.
